About the Campaign
Over 1.5 million people in the DMV don’t know where their next meal is coming from.
According to CAFB's 2025 Hunger Report, 36% of our neighbors experienced food insecurity, with 22% experiencing the most severe status.
With federal funding cuts and job loss, CAFB is expecting a large increase in food insecure individuals in our region.
Nearly 50,000 families are expected to lose SNAP benefits which provided households with approximately 40 meals per month. At the same time, cuts in federal food supplies result in decreased resources to meet rising demand.
EVERY DOLLAR YOU DONATE CAN HELP CAFB PROVIDE 2 MEALS TO NEIGHBORS IN NEED!
